I have purposely been avoiding updating because I feel like I don't a whole lot to say! I just feel like I'm in limbo. We had an ultrasound 2 weeks ago and this past Wednesday (8w0d) I had an appt with my Ob/Gyn. They gave me a urine pregnancy test (which was positive) and checked my blood pressure and weight (I've lost about 8 pounds). I had to have a pap-smear and 5 vials of blood drawn (for various tests). The Dr. gave me a goody bag full of random things.
We're planning on telling our families in a few weeks. I think I'll be just over 11 weeks then. I'm nervous about this because my next ultrasound isn't until 2 weeks AFTER we tell everyone. Who knows what could happen in that time? I'm extremely on edge about telling before we've seen the baby again. I've been researching ultrasound places near us and considering having one done before we tell everyone. They're kind of expensive ($99), but I think well worth my piece of mind. Otherwise, we may have to wait to tell everyone and I *really* don't want to wait any longer!
Decisions, decisions...
