I know, I know...I've been *way* MIA! The last time I posted was more than 3 months ago! What can I say? I've been crazy and worn out! Growing a baby is hard work :) In the last 3 months, we have found out the gender, picked a name, moved to a new (bigger and nicer) place, gotten a new (more practical) car, started prenatal courses and celebrated our 2nd anniversary! Whew :)
At 16w4d, we found out that we're having a little girl! It took quite a bit of pleading to get her to show her parts, but she did eventually. After lots of deliberation, we settled on the name Adelise Claire. Adelise is pronounced ad-uh-LEESE. It's a combination of Adele, Addison and Elise. Originally, I thought I'd made up this beautiful name, but it turns out that it is French and means "noble." Baby girl's middle name is in honor of Alex's Nana, Clara. She was very important to him and thus very important to me as well (despite the fact that I never got the opportunity to meet her).
Total weight gain? 5lbs (pre-pregnancy weight)
Maternity clothes? I officially have one pair of maternity pants. I'm on the hunt for more.
Stretch Marks?Not yet!
Sleeping Well?Most of the time...as long as I get my a nap in when needed, I'm great!
Best Moment this Week? Feeling Adelise move around :) She's very active!
Miss Anything? Being able to breathe without *trying* to!
Any Movement? Lots! Mostly at night or when I'm stationary.
Food Cravings? Sweet cereal with 2% milk
Anything Making you Queasy or Sick? Not really anymore...
Gender? Girl, Adelise Claire
Labor Signs? Not yet
Symptoms? Forgetfulness, AKA pregnancy brain...it's out of control!
Belly Button in or out? In, but not for much longer, I think...
Wedding Rings on or off? On, but not for much longer :/
Happy or Moody? I've been so beyond moody lately! Thankfully, I've married a loving and understanding husband :)
What are you most looking forward to? Setting up Adelise's nursery :D
